Consultations

 Consultation Guidelines

An initial consultation with our Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants or Specialty Physicians will cost from $395. to $1,200.  

A follow-on consultation costs $175.to $550.  The cost of the consultation is dependent upon the specialist you are seeing and the amount of time spent with you.

You can save time by sending your records to us prior to your visit or enter all your history information through the secure, confidential MyPatientNow portal (the link was e-mailed to you).

- Initial Consultation includes taking your history, assembling your prior records and test results and spending at least 30 minutes face-to-face (or telephonic) with the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician.   Remember, it is not just about face-to-face time, there is as much time for your consulting practitioner for collaboration meetings, notes, orders, and related documentation -- all of which are included in the consultation.

- Extra time exceeding the basic initial consult is calculated at 50% of the base initial consult cost, calculated in 15 minute intervals or part thereof.

- There is no additional cost for first 15 minute follow-up face-to-face (or telephonic) after the initial consult within 30 days of the initial consult. 

- Regular follow-up consultations (those consults 45 days or longer from the initial consultation) are considered established patient follow-ons, last 15 minutes and are charged at the follow-on consultation cost (depending upon the specialist). 

- To avoid confusion, it is best to call or text your appointment request and we'll quote the cost to you at the time you make the appointment.

- For first-time patients, we'll need a form of payment on record to secure your appointment.  You will not be charged until after your consult appointment with your practitioner. 

 

- If you don't show up or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before, you will be charged a No-Show Fee of 25% of the scheduled consultation fee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After your consultation you'll receive an invoice from us, either in person or by e-mail with all the information necessary to submit your claim to your health insurance carrier.  Although we can't guarantee you'll be reimbursed for your costs out-of-pocket, we'll do what we can to help you get reimbursed.   

Although some of our providers may also have other relationships at other offices which may qualify them as "in-Network", it is likely that they are "Out-Of-Network" when in our office.
